Our Mission
So many people today have lost their fire and passion for Yiddishkeit.
You need a chance to reconnect and to grow stronger in your Yiddishkeit, to recommit to your heritage, to recover and hold onto your thirst for Torah.
You need change.
You need the innovation and passion of Netzach Yisroel.
Meet Rabbi Yisroel Roll
Rabbi, lawyer and psychotherapist. His introduction to Harav Moshe Shapiro, ztz”l, in 1990 while still a practicing criminal lawyer, marked a turning point in his life, and he set his sights on Jewish continuity: destination London.
With his innate dynamism, he revived the New West End Synagogue, transforming it into a center of Torah education, before moving on to found Kehillas Netzach Yisroel in Edgware, a London suburb.
And in 2021, when COVID struck, Rabbi Roll, by now a prominent author and psychotherapist, established Kehillas Netzach Yisroel, Baltimore, determined to put the joy back into our Avodas Hashem.
“The Davening at Netzach Yisroel is led with emotion. Rabbi Roll gives inspiring Divrei Torah that are understandable and relatable and guides the families of the Kehillah with depth, warmth, and sensitivity”
At Kehillas Netzach Yisroel:
We are on a mission to create lasting change for the better in our Avodas Hashem through joyful tefillah and serious learning for men, women, and children.
Our vision is to quench the spiritual thirst of men, women, and children by discovering our own spiritual wealth.
Our values guide us:
- Everyone can cultivate a strong personal relationship with Hashem.
- A shul is a place for every man, woman, and child to daven, learn Torah, and grow spiritually.
- Through Simchas Hachayim and middos development, we can achieve Shleimus.
Letter to Rabbi Roll from Channah Isserlis
“I’m reaching out as a fellow clinician and motivational speaker to thank you for an amazing read, “Alone Against the World.” I came across your beautiful book that not only sourced, but explained, chapter by chapter, so many of my own observations as a parent, therapist, educator, and, of course, growing Jew.
Your book has directly impacted the message of strength and endurance that I explain is ‘hardwired’ in every Jewish soul and manifests itself in our ability to overcome and endure, by virtue of the struggles (or aloneness) of our ancestors.
The therapeutic angle that you wove together with the Torah perspective was especially intriguing!
I look forward to reading more of your titles, and may HK”BH grant you abundant success in your endeavors to strengthen and bolster His nation.”
